• Meine Einstellung zu Kritik: Offene, sachliche Kritik und Verbesserungsvorschläge sind ausdrücklich erwünscht. Ich möchte, dass meine Bilder immer ehrlich bewertet werden.

Zeit meines Lebens habe ich gern "geknipst".
Mein Wunsch nach mehr Einfluß auf meine Bilder ist erst im Zeitalter der digitalen Fotografie, so um 2005 herum, entstanden.

Meine bisherige Erkenntnis: Fotografie ist ein echtes Handwerk, das sehr viel technisches Know How, aber auch erheblich künstlerisches Talent, ein gutes Auge, aufmerksames Sehen und ein Gefühl für Ästhetik erfordert.

Mein fotografisches Ziel ist es, mir soviel wie möglich davon anzueignen, so dass ich irgendwann ruhigen Gewissens behaupten kann, dass meine Bilder "bewußt gestaltet" worden sind.

Ein paar Stilmittel, die ich zwischenzeitlich ganz gerne einsetze:
- stürzende Linien
(vermutlich, weil sich mein Wissen um Perspektiven in Grenzen hält)
- Anschnitte
Beides oftmals No-Go´s, die zu viel Protest führen.
Ich liebe sie jedoch, weil ich der Ansicht bin, dass sie sehr oft sehr viel Atmosphäre in ein Bild zaubern.
Als Unterstützung bemühe ich gern den großen Fotografen Andreas Feininger:
"Die Tatsache, dass eine technisch fehlerhafte Fotografie gefühlsmäßig wirksamer sein kann als ein technisch fehlerloses Bild, wird auf jene
schockierend wirken, die naiv genug sind, zu glauben, dass technische Perfektion den wahren Wert eines Fotos ausmacht."

Forever I have liked to take snapshots in all possible … and impossible …situations.

My wish to exercise more influence over my photos got really started in 2005 when I used a digital camera for the first time.

Since then I was infected by a “photography virus”. Using technical literature I tried to learn as much theory as possible.

Simultaneously I put this theoretical knowledge into practice. Working in the “field”, applying all that theory stuff, is completely different from all the theoretical knowledge. But you will certainly know…..

Finally I came to the conclusion that photography is a real trade which needs a lot of technical knowhow – but an experienced eye. A real art !

My “photographical aim” is to learn as much as possible – so that eventually I will be able to say that my pictures were arranged deliberately. A step further from snapshots.

Besides taking pictures more than a hobby, I started picture editing, too.
I am elated by the possibility to exercise all kinds of influence on my photos and their quality after the mere act of shooting.

Siempre me interesó disparar en todas las situaciones, posibles o ...imposibles!

En el año 2005, cuando utilizó una cámara digital por primera vez, nace mi deseo de tener un verdadero control, una mayor influencia, sobre mis fotos.

Desde entonces estoy infectada por un "virus fotográfico".
Leí muchos libros tratando de aprender toda la teoría posible.

Posteriormente llevé toda esta instrucción teórica a la práctica.
Hice prácticas de "campo" y entonces descubrí que los conocimientos teóricos son totalmente distintos cuando queremos llevarlos a la práctica. Pero sin duda ustedes ya saben esto...

Por último, he llegado a la conclusión que para hacer fotografía son necesarios una gran cantidad de conocimientos técnicos pero, sobre todo, un ojo experimentado. Artístico!

Mi objetivo, fotográficamente hablando, es aprender tanto como sea posible, de modo que finalmente pueda decir que mis imágenes fueron pensadas y son deliberadamente así, porque son como yo quise que fueran. Creo que me he superado y he dado un paso más allá que unas simples instantáneas.

La fotografía ya no es un simple hobby para mí. Ahora también he comenzado con edición de imagen.
Me encanta la posibilidad de ejercer todo tipo de influencia en mis fotos y en el resultado final. Esto va mucho más allá del mero hecho de (simplemente) disparar.
